A For-No-Reason Birthday Cake-- August 2013
Emberly watched an episode of Sesame Street where the characters made a birthday cake. This made her want to make one, too. So we did. She got really excited about the blow-out-the-candle part, which is funny considering that it's not actually her birthday until next month.
We have also been practicing reading "Fun with Dick and Jane." Progress has been slow, so today I made sight words for all the words in the first chapter, and we are practicing them that way.
