An All Star Day

Today we took the kids to All Star Sports for the first time. They loved it.

Em had a blast on the go-carts, but Breckin was pretty upset that he didn't get a turn. He is too short to ride them right now.

Emberly has been wanting to ride a horse for a while, so when our neighbors came trotting their horses down our street, we asked if she could take a ride. They were kind enough to let her! That marking on Emberly's foot is a princess that I drew.

We planted some flowers. This, unfortunately, was pretty stressful. Breckin was outside with us, and right now all he does when he is outside is get as far away from where he is supposed to be as possible.

Jon finally got to try out his new bike.

I made some banana bread. Em loved the smell, but not the taste. Jon and I enjoyed it, though.

And we played a game of Candy Land with Walter (my elephant) and Cubia (Emberly's Zebra) before bed.

Em also practiced sight words and letter tracing this morning, and we read a few books.

Today was a great day, and I'm glad I captured some photos of it. The next great day I may not pull out my camera. It is nice to have the memories, but the camera can also be distracting. Plus, my photos are really starting to pile up! At least they are all digital...:)
